Nutrition Services Opens Meal Applications for 2026–27 School Year
Laramie County School District 1 Nutrition Services is now accepting meal applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Families may complete an application online at https://linqconnect.com/public/meal-application/new?identifier=N6AVLNor download a paper application from the district website.
A new application must be completed each school year using current household information. Applications from the previous school year will remain active until a new application is submitted or Oct. 5, 2026, whichever comes first. If a new application is not submitted by Oct. 5, meal eligibility status will automatically change to paid. Applications cannot be backdated beyond the date they are submitted.
Submit one application per household, not one per student. Families with students enrolled in South Triad schools should not complete an application because all students receive free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision.
Applications are processed within 10 operating days. Families will receive an eligibility determination by email or mail. If additional information is needed, a member of the Nutrition Services team will contact the household by phone. Submitting an application does not guarantee eligibility, which is determined according to federal income guidelines. Students who qualify for reduced-price meals will receive meals at no charge through the district's Reduced to Free Program.
Applications are accepted year-round. Families whose household income or family size changes during the school year should submit a new application with updated information. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals are automatically enrolled to receive free device insurance. To opt out, call Nutrition Services at 307-771-2440.
