Coyote Ridge students play Unified Basketball game

Near the end of the school year, Coyote Ridge Elementary students showed their support for the school's Unified Sports program at a basketball game.
Unified Sports allows students with and without intellectual disabilities to play on the same team. It encourages inclusivity and reduces stigma, building friendships along the way.
The students played hard and every student involved was grinning wide with each point made. To help students of a variety of abilities contribute to the team, hula-hoops were hanging from the baskets, providing an easier target.
